Police have released new photos of a man accused of multiple instances of damaging the High Line Canal Trail in Cherry Hills Village with homemade explosives over the course of two months.

Joseph J. Godlewski, 48, appeared in court Monday on a charge of possession of an improvised explosive device.

CHERRY HILLS VILLAGE, Colo — Over the past two months, a man has been vandalizing areas along the Highline Canal Trail by placing homemade explosives along it in Cherry Hills Village.

The authorities were looking for evidence of bombmaking when they stumbled upon child porn, according to court records.
