Raptors beat 76ers in OT

Murray-Boyles is probably the strongest Raptors rookie I’ve covered, especially considering he went to college for just two years. As Scottie Barnes pointed out, he dwarfs what Barnes looked like as a rookie. Murray-Boyles is a brick you-know-what house.
Scottie Barnes had a Sunday to remember, and he made some NBA history in the process. The Toronto Raptors forward led his team to a 141-127 overtime victory over the Golden State Warriors behind an incredible triple-double of 23 points, 25 rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and one block on 11-of-17 shooting from the field.
With lots of room for rookie glory, Edgecombe took a swipe for some of his own. He ran the 2-man action on ball instead of Maxey, and he flattened out to hit a pull up triple in the face of Martin to tie the game at 115. A tremendous pull.
Teams are known to place bets on athletic, 6-foot-8 forwards. In their fifth seasons, Barnes and Johnson are showing why.
Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes is listed as doubtful for Friday’s game against the Boston Celtics with a right knee sprain, the team announced.
Scottie Barnes catches the attention of big media members. On the most recent edition of The Zach Lowe Show, Zach Lowe and Rob Mahoney went over their All-Star picks for the 2025-26 NBA season, and they both sang high praise for Toronto’s Scottie Barnes.
